We are so proud of our Most Improved Student for the Month of March, 7th grader, Jalena Norzagaray. Jalena comes from a family of four brothers and one sister. Her father is in the military, and for over two years she lived in Latina, Italy. She traveled to Rome while living in Latina and enjoyed visits to the Vatican and the Coliseum. Now, she is back in her hometown of Tucson and we are fortunate enough to have her as a student in our school. She loves sports and is a member of the AMS girls' basketball team. She likes going to AMS because of the variety of sports activities available. She credits her success at school to turning in all of her work and asking for extra credit in her classes. She also said that she does her homework every night. Those are definitely the ingredients to success and she has proven it! Congratulations, Jalena!
