We are extremely proud of our fine students, parents and staff who all contributed to the academic success of our students. 

In addition to our highly qualified teaching staff and research-based accelerated curricula, AMS ensured student success through innovative scheduling, programming and content area experts.

 

• Students in need of remediation participated in small group reading and math tutoring during the school day while still progressing with the customary accelerated curriculum. They received further support by participating in our complementary afterschool tutoring and homework help program.
• Students in need of enrichment were further challenged in a mathematics enrichment program for elementary students during the school day and math club for middle and high school students after school.  These students won top awards in Math Kangaroo, an international mathematics competition.
• AMS relies on content area experts to deliver cutting-edge programs in math and science.  Particularly accomplished math and English tutors complemented our highly qualified teaching staff to provide the small group remediation and enrichment programs.  AMS students continue to reap the rewards of our highly dedicated science teachers who have been with the school for a combined total of over 12 years. 

As a result of our innovative programming and staff, AMS students achieved unprecedented results.  During the 2011-12 school year, we will build upon and enrich our programming.
