Please Help the College Bound Club Collect Much Needed Supplies for Earthquake Victims
Dear Parents,
We are kindly asking for your help with collecting supplies for earthquake victims in Chile and Haiti. We are the "College Bound Club" (CBC). The CBC is a voluntary afterschool program open to 9-12th graders managed by the University of Arizona's student volunteer service organization, Students in Free Enterprise, (SIFE).
The CBC teaches students to prepare themselves for college by teaching subjects such as: how to apply for financial aid, writing resumes, finding scholarships, and career and major exploration. The CBC also aims to expose students to college life and activities while developing leadership and teamwork skills by organizing student-ran fundraising and volunteer efforts to give back to the community and communities around the world.
This quarter the CBC is organizing a drive to collect supplies for earthquake victims in need. The donated supplies will be sent out by World Care a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to sending relief to victims of disasters worldwide.
